The whole topic of marijuana addiction is riddled with controversy. It tends to get either all the wrong type of attention or just no attention at all. On one hand, the evidence that it is addictive in the same way that tobacco, caffeine, or cocaine is addictive is well – weak. Then you have the claims of real people talking about their marijuana addiction, and the description sounds like that of any hard drug addiction.
